I just wanted to let your team know what a pleasant experience I had at your transmission shop in Cuyahoga Falls. I experienced the unfortunate event of a transmission failure in my 1994 Lexus ES300. First, the problem started with me being stranded at work, 30 miles away from my home in Cuyahoga Falls. The transmission in my Lexus had been acting up, so I called to get an appointment for a transmission inspection later in the week. Needless to say, I never made the appointment as my car would not move — except in reverse! I called Jim and Sons and talked to Melissa, explaining my problem. Melissa promptly dispatched a tow truck to retrieve my Lexus. The vehicle was inspected upon being delivered to the shop in Cuyahoga Falls. When the inspection was completed, Max (the service adviser) called to inform me that the transmission had failed and needed rebuilding. Understandably, with a car that had 184k miles, it was time for some repairs. Max explained the rebuild process, including the length of repair, cost, and answering all of my questions. The transmission was rebuilt according to schedule and at the estimated cost. It was as good as new. The staff at Jim & Sons Transmission Specialists were professional, courteous, and had me back on the road again as promised. I would recommend anyone that is experiencing transmission problem to pay a visit to Jim & Sons Transmission in Cuyahoga Falls. Subsequently, I have taken two other cars to their shop for transmission maintenance and based upon my first experience will not go anywhere else!
