Jim & Sons runs a very honest and professional transmission shop. My family has been satisfied customers of their shop in Cuyahoga Falls since 1985. We have their specialists rebuild and service transmissions in numerous vehicles over the years for my father. Currently, I live more than an hour away from their shop, but I still bring my vehicles to Cuyahoga Falls to be serviced. I even brought my vehicles to Jim & Sons for service when I lived in Cincinnati for 8 years. Jim & Sons has done all the transmission, transfer case, and differential services on my 2005 Ford F150 with 173K miles on it. Their shop overhauled the rear differential in 2010, and more recently, replaced the clutch pack assembly in my F150. I have been completely satisfied with all the work, and appreciate the honesty from all of Jim's employees. I highly recommend Jim & Sons, either in Cuyahoga Falls or Canton, for any needed transmission or driveline repairs or services One simply can not find a better transmission shop in the Akron area.
