My 4-wheel drive had not been working for nearly 3 years. Finally, having saved enough money to even think about getting it fixed, I sought out a transmission shop in the Akron area. The important aspect was getting a shop to diagnose the problem correctly. I did not want someone just throwing parts at it in the hope of fixing the problem. Another shop in Cuyahoga Falls recommended Jim & Sons. Dan diagnosed 2 different problems, providing me with repair estimates for each one. In the end, I can say I was amazed at the accuracy of the problem diagnostics, along with staying true to the service estimates! Furthermore, my truck's transmission problems were fixed 2 days prior than I expected they would be. Although I only got to try out the 4-wheel drive in the snow for the last big snow we had, I am really impressed. Jim & Sons does not only fix transmissions but axles & computer-related problems as well. Thank you Dan & Amanda for keeping me updated with the expected return of my vehicle depending on the availability of the parts you had to order. I was surprised they had rental vehicles at a reasonable rate. They even offered a ride back home after I dropped off my vehicle! I highly recommend Jim & Sons in Cuyahoga Falls.
