Jim Currier - Transmission Shop Owner
Jim has been the current owner of the business since 1990 when his father passed away. He has been with the company since 1972. He is happily married to Barb. Jim enjoys boating on Lake Erie, working on his project 1956 Chevy Belair, and riding his Harley.
Max Currier - Transmission Shop Service Writer
Max is third generation at Jim & Son's. He is Jim's middle son. Max enjoys meeting all of the new customers and building friendships with them. Max is married to Rachael. In his free time, Max enjoys riding three-wheelers, working out, riding his Harley, and taking care of his family.
Wayne Savage - Transmission Rebuilder
Wayne is the lead rebuilder at the shop. He has been with Jim & Son's for 25 years having started in 1983. He has been married to Laurie for 19 years. He enjoys camping and attending boyscout events with his two boys.
Paul Posze - Transmission Rebuilder
Paul is one of the rebuilders on our team. He has been with us since 2002. In his free time, Paul enjoys collecting antique guns, going to gun shows, and spending time with friends and family.
Dan Currier - Transmission Rebuilder
Dan is third generation at Jim & Son's. He is Jim's youngest son. Dan enjoys working on his 1937 Plymouth Coupe, playing indoor soccer, and spending time with his friends and family.
Chuck Eakin - Transmission Converter Rebuilder
Chuck is in charge of rebuilding torque converters, fabricating, and machining of special parts. He has been with Jim & Son's since 2002. Chuck is married to Joanie and they have one daughter. In his free time, Chuck enjoys bowling, fishing and working on side projects.
Scott Benedum - Driveline Technician
Scott is a lead driveline diagnostician. He has been with us since 2005 but has been in the industry for 16 years. He is a father to three daughters and one son. Scott is an accomplished dart player, whom competes in many tournaments. He also enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
Don Gillette - Transmission Rebuilder
Don started at Jim & Son's back when he was in high school. He started out doing minor repairs and has worked his way up through driveline technician, rebuilding torque converters and now is one of transmission rebuilders. Don is father to two boys. In his spare time, Don enjoys jeeping, riding dirt bikes, and working with his dad on custom hot rods.
Amanda Pierce - Office Manager
Amanda has been with Jim & Son's since 2008. She performs all general office duties and also strives to provide excellent customer service. She is a mother of 2 children. She enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with her friends and family.
Dave Lorentz - Driveline Technician
Dave is Jim's stepson and has been part of the Jim & Son's team since 2008. He has been very enthusiastic about learning the family business. In his free time, Dave enjoys playing baseball, watching movies with his girlfriend, and spending time with his family and friends. Dave is also a big fan of horsepower.
