Outstanding customer service, reasonable prices, and quality work all characterize Jim & Sons Transmission Specialists in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio. I took my 2000 Honda Accord to their shop nearly two years ago to have my transmission rebuilt. Jim & Sons had provided me with the lowest estimate for a rebuild and had excellent customer reviews. I was not disappointed. They fixed the transmission within the estimated cost, and everyone on their staff was a pleasure to work with. Max, the service adviser, kept me informed of the progress, and the rebuilders finished the work on time. The job was even backed with their Golden Rule Warranty that is honored across the United States. More recently, I had a different, intermittent issue with the same car. Although I live more than 300 miles away, I decided to take my car to their transmission shop in the Akron area again. They worked with me to find a rental car while they troubleshot the issue. Their expertise in finding and fixing the problem was apparent, and the price was extremely fair, even though the car was outside warranty. This impressive family-run business seems to care about integrity first, over profit. I wish more businesses automotive shops were run like Jim & Sons Transmission Specialists.
